There are 260 strategically located ambulance stations across the state staffed by nearly 3000 professional ambulance paramedics. All of the service’s operational members are trained in the management of asthma and carry oxygen and drugs to effectively treat cases that range from mild to life threatening.

In addition to these skills, some ambulances are crewed by Intensive Care Paramedics who carry additional drugs for the treatment of life-threatening asthma and are trained in advanced airway management techniques.
